Deciding what Apple Mac Computer or laptop is most practical for your needs can be a daunting task. This guide will walk you through your Apple Mac Computer or Laptop decision and what factors you should take into account when purchasing your new Apple Mac Computer or Laptop.
Here are 5 questions you should ask when deciding between an Apple Mac Computer and Laptop:
• Will the Computer or Laptop be used primarily at home or when you travel?
• Will you use your Apple Mac Computer or Laptop for personal uses (e-mail, pictures, internet, etc.) or will you use it for work (creating documents, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.)?
• Do you have Wi-Fi at home or where you travel?
• Will you be the only user of the Apple Mac Computer or Laptop?
• What is your budget for a new Apple Mac Computer or Laptop?
You will most likely want to swing towards an Apple Mac Laptop for traveling and leisurely home use. Now that you have a clear direction on your need of an Apple Mac Laptop, you should choose the uses for your new Laptop. For personal uses (e-mail, pictures, internet, etc.), my suggestion would be an Apple Mac 13” MacBook or Apple MacBook Air. Deciding between the two is primarily a decision of form over function. The MacBook Air is very thin, light weight, yet still very powerful for personal users. The 13” MacBook is larger and a bit more powerful. Both the MacBook 13” and the MacBook Air Laptops come with Wi-Fi, and both support multiple users. The price on both these Apple Laptops will fit happily into your budget.
If you answered “work” to the 2nd question, then a MacBook Pro is in your future. The Apple MacBook Pro Laptop comes in 13”, 15”, and 17” versions. My suggestion for a traveling work companion is the 15” Apple Macbook Pro Laptop. It’s very stylish, powerful and practical. If you like more power and don’t mind the bump in size and weight, the 17” MacBook Pro is a stellar Apple Mac Laptop for work.
Now, if you are looking for a Home computer for work or personal use, my suggestion is the Apple iMac Computer. You can get a 21.5” or 27” screen and the iMac comes with all the software and hardware you need to get up and running.
Whatever your needs, and whatever you choose, any Apple Mac Laptop or Computer will provide years of productivity and pleasure.
